It is designed by Lensvelt’s Head Product Developer Rick Minkes. His love for defined shapes, clear volumes and purity is exemplified through this piece. With its sleek and lightweight steel frame in combination with upholstered circular top, the roundness of the shape will create a calming flow in any space it is placed in. 

Story

Rick Minkes

Rick Minkes is Lensvelt’s Lead Product Developer, he is the essential link between the designers and factories. A proud Cum Laude graduate from Delft University, Rick earned his Master’s degree in Industrial Design with an internationally renowned thesis, the topic being: Office Furniture in a Flex Environment. Rick develops the furniture together with the designers Lensvelt works with. He works efficiently, with a down-to-earth attitude and knows the essence of a design with academic precision, translating outlines into timeless, serial designs. His work is often depicted through sharp lines, clear volumes and pristine proportions.
