"Just like Lensvelt, I value expressiveness. Furniture should speak for itself." Says Stefan Scholten, who was approached by Hans Lensvelt to design a sofa. There were several conditions the designs had to meet. The result had to be applicable, functional, durable and expressive, and it had to fit within the Lensvelt concept of outspoken furniture with a wink. With this furniture, Lensvelt wants to create an accessible and practical product that fits in with the spirit of the times in terms of both quality and comfort.
 
Hans Lensvelt (CEO and owner of Lensvelt) and designer Stefan Scholten met each other for the first time over twenty years ago during the Salone Del Mobile in Milan. During the recent launch party, Stefan reminded Hans of their first meeting when Hans said to him: 'we must work together.
After they both had a fruitful and productive career in the design world, twenty years later, it finally happened.

Story

A perfect inside-outside loop

The Loop Chair takes its name from its shape: a steel tube forms a continuous loop; the steel tube runs from the armrest via the seat to the legs and back around. This hybrid chair is available in four different versions: with and without armrests and with an open or closed backrest and seat.
The chair, which is also ideally suited for outdoor use, can be left outside for 7 years without damage. The standard version comes in 4 fashionable and modern colors: perfect black, oyster white, copper brown and olive green.

The LoopChair is stackable, linkable, lightweight, extremely strong, and made of 100% reusable steel, therefore meeting the current sustainability requirements for furnishing government buildings.
