Architect Wiel Arets was responsible for the design of the Leidsche Rijn College in Utrecht. And that is reflected in the building, his preference for black, white and glass.
The facade has black surfaces with glazed relief, the interior is entirely in white, combined with coloured glass. The result is a remarkable school building. Nothing was left to chance.
Lensvelt supplied various pieces of furniture for the interior of Leidsche Rijn College, such as the iconic Stealth Cabinet by Wiel Arets. In addition, Arets and Lensvelt designed 900 Leidsche Rijn chairs (LRC Chair), LRC tables and waste bins. As a result, everything fitted together.
