CanCanteen, Amsterdam's new hotspot where work, food and pleasure come together! Located in an apartment complex in Amsterdam's Houthavens, CanCanteen offers a unique concept that combines casual coffee meetings, productive work sessions and delicious food.

Gispen 205 Chairs are placed in the restaurant area with round 4000 Meetingtables.

The innovative concept, from branding to interior, was developed by Bureau...,Staat. Here the focus is on a harmonious mix of new and vintage furniture, giving the interior a "modern community center" feel, as if you were sitting at a neighbor's kitchen table. Details are carefully chosen, such as vintage bar lamps from Marktplaats and refurbished Thonet chairs alongside designer furniture from the Lensvelt collection.
Lensvelt supplied the furniture, including the Maarten Baas 101 Chairs and the 801 bar stools, Gispen Chairs and Meetingtables in the restaurant, Gerrit Veenendaal Chairs in the meeting rooms, and the D-chair developed in collaboration with Bureau...,Staat. Custom-made oak meeting tables and a meter-long sofa add to the unique look.

CanCanteen wants to provide a 'neighborhood hub’ as a communal meeting place in apartment buildings.

The neighborhood hub
CanCanteen is more than just a hospitality venue; it is a vibrant concept focused on eating, working, playing, and meeting. With an accessible and versatile layout, various spaces are created for working, meeting, and communal dining. The 'modern neighborhood hub' feel reflects the aim to provide a communal meeting place in apartment buildings, where neighbors can strengthen connections amid our busy individual lives.
