Not a Big Thing has a polished and clean appearance. It is a desk top with molded edges and an optical thinness of 3mm that forms a frail unity against the austere metal frame. The edges look like a ‘floating stripe’ that is visible above the steel base. Both the frame and the top are available in black, light gray and white. The frame is also available in a stainless steel. Not A Big Thing is available in an assortment of measurements.

Story

Dirk van Berkel

Dirk van Berkel is an interior architect that specializes in the aesthetics of functional office furniture where his signature style is conceptually minimal. His body of work includes the design of interiors for projects for the Ministry of General Affairs in the Hague, Univar, Hof van Holland and amongst other custom made products. He finished off his studies Interior Design at the Royal Academy in The Hague.
